How Canon botched it on this many levels amazes me. I have edited video and used just about every format since 1990. Never before has there been a camera less user friendly. I have an IQ in the 140 range and I was boggled at how poorly the menus and usability was not thought through on any level. Great camera if you want to edit in camera, and simply watch the video one time on your wide screen, then delete it. Forget ANY editing with this over priced digital paperweight. Go with a flip cam instead.
